Vanilla Bourbon Butter Bundt Cake

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Lodge Legacy Series Cast Iron Baking Bundt Pan as held by Gloria Goodtaste at National Corn Bread Festival in So. Pittsburg, TN.

About the Recipe:  This recipe reminds me of the cake my mom baked when I was young, that had a rich buttery flavor and light pound cake texture.  The Bourbon flavor is light and well blended with the other ingredients. It is perfect to serve in slices as a dessert and pairs well with sliced fruit or berries.

Cook’s Note:  For a stronger Bourbon flavor: increase the amount of Bourbon used and decrease the orange juice.  I like to use a sprinkle of chopped Bourbon Barrel Pecans. I’m excited to try baking this cake in my new Lodge Legacy Series Cast Iron Fluted Cake Pan, that I received at the National Cornbread Festival.
