When we arrived at his home in Illinois, he was preparing for a product testing/flavor
profile using 9 rubs and a sauce. We were so happy to be guest testers for these
products from Nuthatch Hill BBQ Company, PITTY QUE & Till’s Tastes LLC. Chicken
thighs, pork, and beef were smoking on the grill and ready for our tasting scores. An
important part of barbecuing is to select or create a flavorful seasoning rub and sauce.
As you might guess, this was one delicious afternoon. To make everything perfect, he
shared his winning recipe with us.
