SalterieOne/formerly Duxbury Saltworks
Lily Leedom and her team making artisan sea salt at Duxbury, MA saltworks location.

She started by experimenting in her kitchen and slowly evaporated salt water in pots. Lily ultimately found the right formula that resulted in beautiful, pure sea salt that had the consistency and texture she was seeking. She recognized the consumer’s desire for all-natural, healthy food, Lily realized that while there were many food categories that had been transformed coffee, tea, chocolate, and snacks, the salt category didn’t offer the same high quality, flavorful, pure & USA made options. As a wife, mom, athlete and seeker of good health, she knew customers wanted a natural healthy product.

Light & Dark Layered Chocolate Pudding
Chilling in the refrigerator, it forms layers to swirl together

About the Recipe:  I love something that forms itself into different layers. This recipe will turn into light and dark chocolate layers as it sits in the refrigerator. Just a few turns through the pudding will produce a swirled top. If you chill it again, it will produce a liquid in the swirls. This is fun recipe to enjoy that is even healthy for you.

Dairy Free Cashew Cream Cheese & Chili Peppered Cashew Cheese
What is cashew cheese?

What is cashew cheese?  It’s a non-dairy, vegan substitute for cheese. Many different herbs or seasonings can be mixed into the creamed mixture. Adding more liquid turns it into a creamy sauce. If it’s kept thick, it forms into a hummus-like cream cheese ingredient. Adding agar-agar powder and arrowroot powder can create a thick cheese and adding turmeric will provide a rich golden color.
