Our gourmet club had an Italian pizza party, and I made a double batch of Kale Slaw for the party. After I saw how much it produced, I was sure that there would be lots of leftovers. My daughter said that she learned to love Brussels Sprouts when Grandma told her about the cute little cabbages and modeled how great they tasted. Grandma also introduced us to shaved Brussels sprouts about 20 years ago. She would be pleased to know the new trend of the coming year is to shave them into salads, side dishes, or braise them as part of that main entrée.
