Do you want to have a true farm-to-fork experience? We decided to see if we could find out how to make this happen. We explored lots of fields, farms, local markets, farmstands, regional historical sites, and organic restaurants, uncovering some interesting facts. We did find happy grazing cows, clucking chickens, and fluffy farm animals. We feasted on delicious 100% organic restaurant meals, where the food was farm-to-fork fresh, and the best milk was turned into heavenly creams, cheeses, and melt-away ice cream delights. Guess what? You can make this happen!

Farm to Restaurant Food
Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville, Indiana is part of a working organic dairy farm.

Grass fed Swiss milking cows produce dairy products sold directly to customers.  Milk is made on the farm and is sold pasteurized in bottles at the store and at certain Whole Foods. Artisan cheese is made here, is aged and available. A dairy bar with artisan ice creams is on site for everyone to enjoy. A full-service restaurant, called the Loft, is serving lunch, dinner, and special events with a chef’s garden and free-range egg laying chickens located right on the farm.  Traders Point Creamery is a historic working farm that also serves up amazing farm-to-table meals – literally.
