Substituting Dried Herbs for Fresh Herbs in Recipes

Just replace the fresh herbs in your recipe with one third as much of the dried equivalent. The flavor is much more concentrated in dry fresh herbs, so less is required.  For example: For 1 Tablespoon fresh thyme use 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
